With a career in the industry spanning over 30 years, Grahame started out working as a production manager for a Heinz subsidiary, then switched to pest insect breeding research for Wellcome Environmental Health, before a spell as a pest control technician with National Pest Control. He then worked as a pest consultant for ADAS training pest control technicians, undertaking field biologist audits for a diverse range of food businesses, investigating problem infestations for multinational food companies, both in the UK and overseas, and carrying out phytosanitary inspections of export grain for MAFF.
Grahame spent several years inventing and developing innovative pest control products with
Network Pest Control and then Pelsis following their acquisition of the Network brand from
BASF. Most recently he was Technical & Training Manager for Mitie Pest Control which became Terminix UK following the acquisition by ServiceMaster.
